Mov’it performance braking system is one of the two variety of braking systems that Mov’it offers. The Mov’it performance braking system consists of 3 parts; brake calipers, brake disc and brake pads, each in its own way is complemented by Mov’it innovative design and characteristic:

Mov’it Performance Braking System – Brake Calipers:

The main part of a Mov’it performance braking system is the billet caliper, which is crafted from airplane aluminium. The long design of the caliper allows for a maximised disc which leads to an increased in the contact area of the pad. The piston is arrange so that there is equal contact pressure which results to a uniform heat transfer allowing a reduction in the system’s temperature and enhanced durability of all wear parts.

Mov’it Performance Braking System – Brake Disc:

The Mov’it brake disc is made from a special alloy which ensures lowest possible wear and perfect responsive brake reaction even under wet conditions. The inner part of the Mov’it brake disc contains the double directional evolvent ventilation system that offers a larger surface which allows better heat absorption and transfer abilities.

Mov’it Ceramic Braking System – Friction Rings:

With their light weight designed, along with dust and noise reduction, ceramic brakes are usually the brake of choice for drivers who are after performance. However ceramic brakes do have their disadvantages, such as low thermal conductivity, little thermal capacity and poor material integrity. The result is a poor fading stability, high temperatures, excessive wear and high mechanical damage sensitivity. 

After years of research Mov’it brake has finally developed a production technique that allows them to overcome these disadvantages of ceramic brakes. This production system is called Crossed Continuous Fibre (CCF); it guarantees high thermal conductivity, superior thermal capacity and homogeneous material structure combined with light weight features of the carbon silicon materials.
